Writing

Writing starts with our youngest children where all mark making is celebrated. Gross and fine motors skills are developed in Foundation to enable children to be able to physically write. As the children move through school, writing opportunities are purposeful and linked to the class topic. The children are taught Grammar techniques through the use of Rainbow Grammar, which they then apply within their writing. We have high expectations for our children and expect the best presentation and handwriting at all times.
