Religious Education

RE is statutory for all registered pupils on the school roll.  The school follows the Nottinghamshire Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education.  Parents have the right to withdraw their child from RE and suitable alternative provision will be made.

At FTPS we believe that for the children to really engage with RE, it must first and foremost relate to the child.  Children are taught RE during whole school timetabled weeks at least once a half term, giving children opportunities to learn about RE and reflect on previous learning.
