Reading, Spelling and Phonics
At Forest Town Primary School, we follow Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised. Year 1 and 2 will read as part of a reading group three times a week and they will take their reading practice book home with them. They will also take a reading for pleasure book home to share with their family. Children will also take part in phonics or spelling sessions 5 times a week.
