29.6.20

Listen to story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears read by Mrs Hannant (see class Dojo) or read along together, if you have your own book.

Can you make a set of puppets to re-tell the story?  You could use paper plates, spoons, paper bags, lolly sticks or any materials you have around your house.  We would love to see your photos and videos on Tapestry!

Have fun!

TEDDY BEAR TOAST

Talk about the Bear’s enjoying eating their porridge for breakfast?  Have you ever eaten porridge?

What is your favourite breakfast?

Have fun!

OPPOSITES:

Goldilocks uses lots of opposites in the story ‘too hot / cold’ ‘too hard / soft’ ‘too salty / sweet.’

Can you go on an opposites scavenger hunt inside and outside?  Find an object / material that is hard and one that is soft?  Look for rough / smooth, big / small, long / short, fat / thin, bright / dull etc.

You could play a senses game where you put objects in a bag / basket and close your eyes then pick out an object and describe e,g, smooth.  Can you use your sense of touch to find the opposite object e.g. rough?

We would love to see your photos and videos on Tapestry!

Have fun!

We would love to see your photos and videos on Tapestry!

Have fun!

NEW BED FOR GOLDILOCKS:

Baby Bear is feeling sorry for Goldilocks and thinks that if she had a new bed of her own, then she wouldn’t need to sleep on other people’s beds!

Can you help Baby Bear to make Goldilocks her own bed?  What could you use?) Card, paper, lolly sticks, cardboard tubes, pipe cleaners, etc).  You could make your own paper Goldilocks to lay on your finished bed or use a real toy!  Can you make some covers for Goldilocks’s bed too?

We would love to see your photos and videos on Tapestry!

Have fun!
