Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had another fantastic couple of weeks at Forest Town.
My assemblies have continued to focus on our values of being kind and togetherness. We've discussed with the children the difference between being rude, being mean, and bullying. We also discussed together what to do if we spot anyone experiencing this. We are continuing to see behaviour improving at lunch, with all children engaging positively with equipment and resources.
We have so many exciting events taking place over the next few weeks - from Sports Day and our French Day, to our year 6 performances.
As mentioned previously, we are holding an additional parents' evening on the 14th and 15th July. A link has been sent out for you to all select a convenient time. If you have any issues with booking a parents' evening, please don't hesitate to contact the office.
On Monday we’ll be sending out a quick survey – we’d love to have your feedback.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday at Sports Day!
Have a lovely weekend.

Attendance Rewards
Our children are really enjoying the attendance rewards in school, please see the below poster for what they can achieve by being in school everyday.
We are excited to share some more lovely news!
As part of our behaviour curriulum, we have been working hard on being ready to learn as soon as we come in to school by coming through the door and getting straight on with a task set by our teacher. This means we are calm, safe, respectful and ready to learn - setting us up for a fantastic day ahead.
These wonderful children have proven themselves to be superb role models by always coming in to school sensibly and beginning their learning, often without even needing a prompt.
The children themselves have said that by following this routine, they feel calmer and that it helps to get them in the right frame of mind to learn as much as they can in the day ahead.
Well done children, you make us proud every day. Keep up the super learning!
Mrs Potts
Due to some of our children in school having severe nut and fruit allergies (that are air born), please make sure that the following are are NOT brought into school as snacks for break time and in lunch boxes.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
Healthy Eating
Please be reminded that if you are sending in snacks for your child at break time that these are healthy snacks, such as a piece of fruit and not crisps, sweets, biscuits, cakes or chocolate bars.
Breakfast Club Drop-off
The security of the school site is extremely important and we therefore kindly ask:
Thank you
Year 6 visited Walesby from Wednesday 11 June to Friday 13 June 2025 on their residential.
The children have been amazing and really pushed themselves to do each and every challenge! They've definitely displayed every single school value (and more).
I hope they've made some memories to cherish. The children have been a real credit to you all and made Forest Town Primary super proud!
