Friday

Talk about painting Number 7 – we know it has been done by drip painting but this time only using one colour and the paint is spread apart deliberately. Are there any other ways we could get a similar effect but without using a paintbrush?

We used straws yesterday. What else could we use?

Discuss using things from nature and link back to work done when looking at Andy Goldsworthy.

Children could recreate picture of their choosing using items they find from a hunt in the garden e.g. sticks/leaves etc.

  • Using natural objects as a substitute for dripping with a paint brush.
  • Chn to recreate Number 7.
  • Still encouraging the use of tints and shades.
