Monday 11th May

Today we are going to look at the other sound ‘oo’ makes.

I would like you to go on a scavenger hunt in your house and bring back these things …

book
hook
wood
wool

Can you write a list of the things you have found? Try a sentence if you want to.

Wednesday 13th May

Today’s phonics is an alphabet challenge.

Can you find a different object in your house or garden that starts with every letter of the alphabet?

The catch is that they must all fit onto a plate!

I can’t wait to see how you get on. I am going to try it at home too.

Here is my alphabet challenge

Thursday 14th May

Today’s phonics is to practice your phase 2 or phase 3 sounds then have a go at writing them. Get someone to challenge you!

Friday 15th May

Today for phonics there are a couple of activities you could choose if you want to.

One is a cut and stick sequencing activity. Your adults might need you to help read some of the words.

Or there is a picture sequencing activity that you could put in the right order. You could even write the story yourself!

As always, any questions let us know. Have a lovely day.
